<image:title>About Kris & Alex - KRIS -</image:title>
<image:caption>I was a fresh college graduate. With my degree in one hand, and my hopes in the other, I stepped into the adult world thinking that I was going to achieve it all. I was offered several full time jobs upon graduation, and I ended up turning all of them down. What was I thinking? That’s the thing… I wasn’t. I went with my gut instinct. I went with my heart. I didn’t want any of those jobs. In fact, I didn’t want any full time job. Somehow I already knew that I was going to go in a different direction than the norm. But I just didn’t know what yet. After juggling various part time jobs (at one point I had 5… I also don’t know why) I ended up quitting ALL of them to go to Peru with Alex, who I had recently started dating. I literally dropped everything to go on a two week trip with a guy I had dated for less than 6 months. AND IT WAS SO WORTH IT! For the first time since I was 17, I was unemployed. But I was also super freaking happy. Because for once, I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I could just simply, live. Those two weeks reminded me of why I felt the need to quit all of my jobs, and why my love for travel was so strong. I came back home to an empty slate. I could be anything I wanted. But unfortunately, I fell into working a boring, part-time, finance job trapped at a desk. I was miserable. I would come home without wanting to talk to anyone, including Alex. I would just cry for absolutely no apparent reason, except for the fact I was unhappy. I was back to where I was before… how did I let this happen? It was sickening to go through this cycle of being upset with my job and simultaneously not doing anything about it. So I just said… FUCK IT. I signed up for any and every online webclass I could find. I watched webinars, read articles, listened to podcasts, anything I could get my hands on. I attempted an online boutique, consulting, mentoring, YouTubing, blogging, journaling, social media managing… you name it. Until I found a business that was the right fit for me. It was everything that I wanted in an online business, and most importantly, it was sustainable enough to help me retire from my finance job! All I had to do, was START.</image:caption>

<image:title>About Kris & Alex - ALEX -</image:title>
<image:caption>I was a bit of a troublemaker, if you will. A kolohe. I realized I was lost and didn’t know what I was going to do after high school, so after a very short career in college, I decided to join the military. And that was exactly what I needed at the time. The military shaped me, humbled me, and ultimately made me learn to never take my life for granted. I have lost close friends, and even had a couple close calls myself, while I served. Nonetheless, I grew a strong appreciation for the military, and what we did to serve our country. The day I returned home to Hawai’i, I coincidentally met Kris. I did not get to talk to her much the night we met, but little did I know that us meeting was going to drastically change my life. A few months later, we went on our first date. A few weeks after that, she was my girlfriend. Our love grew fast, and it grew stronger than any other love I have known before. But I saw her struggle with her job. She came home to me so unhappy, that sometimes she would just lay in bed crying. We would watch puppy and kitten videos to try distract her. I knew Kris was the type of woman to do anything to make her dreams a reality, and she proved me right. She came to me and said she was going to start this online journey. She had no idea how, or what to do, but she was going to go for it. Of course I was skeptical as hell, but after seeing her suffer so much from her job, why would I stop her? I gave her a kiss on the forehead and told her to go for it. I was internally screaming, thinking we were going to go into debt over this business, but I trusted her. Six months later, Kris was making enough money from her online business to cover all of our bills; including our mortgage and her student loans, without even touching our paychecks from our jobs. Not only that, but we also had enough money saved where I could start my own online business and join her. I WAS IN. I told her to help me get started working online so that I could join her. We became an entrepreneurial couple, which I did not envision for myself just a few months before it happened. Fast forward later in 2019, it came the time for me to decide if I was going to re-enlist in the military. I had a pre-exisiting health condition that was starting to take a toll on my body, and I also knew that I wanted to have time and location freedom so I can travel with Kris. It was not an easy decision to make, but I made the choice to end my military career to focus on my health, and to also support a decision I made with my new wife. We started this journey together, and I have honestly never been more proud of her, and of us.</image:caption>

<image:title>Travel For Beginners - Never traveled before? ..or never traveled without your parents or family?</image:title>
<image:caption>You’re at the right place. Kris has been traveling since she was 4 months old, and had her first plane ride alone at 13. Alex has been traveling frequently ever since he got out of high school. So we got you! First thing is first, if you are 18, please do yourself (and future self) a favor and get a credit card. Yes, a credit card. They will make your life easier, trust me. If you’ve never had a credit card before, or if you do not know details on credit cards for traveling, please read our post: credit card tips. The reason we highly suggest getting credit cards is because they will actually benefit you while traveling. Many hotels, airlines, and car rentals, are starting to switch over to credit cards only. Yup, that means a big fat no to debit cards (there are reasons behind this, they aren’t trying to be mean). So if you do not have a credit card on hand, you might get stuck without a rental car and a hotel room in a foreign country. Credit cards also usually give some sort of incentive - whether it is cash back, points, or miles. Many cards now days also do a hefty sign up promotion, that will gift you enough miles or points for a free flight or free hotel stay (various factors for this, not a guarantee). So every time you swipe that card to buy your lunch, or pay your phone bill, you are adding on rewards for future travel. How fun! Now that you have your travel credit card ready (if you plan on applying for a new card for traveling, check our cards list for extra sign up bonuses!), it is time to start actually planning your travels! Think about if you are a spontaneous creature, or if you like having everything planned ahead on a timetable. How you go about planning your travels will help make your experience even better. The last thing you want to happen on your trip is for you to stress over something that could have been avoided.</image:caption>

<image:title>Travel For Beginners - What should you book first? Where should you start looking?</image:title>
<image:caption>There is no right or wrong way to start booking your travels. But this is what we like to do: clear laptop of all open tabs and programs (please use a computer and not a smart phone, it’s just way easier). You want your only focus to be on travel. Then, it begins. First question: Do you know where you want to go? Cus that is pretty darn important. Or are you one of those people who do not care where you go, as long as you are away from home? Yep me too. So if you want to sign up for like a flight scanning program, you can definitely check those out. Really popular ones are Scott’s, Next Vacay, and Sky Scanner. Or you can see what Google, Expedia, or Travelocity has to offer. BUT STOP… before you book anything! Did you know you can get cash back from booking your own travels?! (and no, you do not have to be a travel agent) Keep reading below!</image:caption>

<image:title>Travel For Beginners - Travel + Get Cash Back?!</image:title>
<image:caption>Whaaaat?! We are so serious right now. We have been earning cash back on every. single. travel. accommodation. First, we use online travel agents like Expedia and Travelocity. For certain things like a cruise, a live travel agent can be really helpful. But for random and spontaneous travel, which is usually how we roll… online agents is our fave. So before you even start looking, head over to these sites: - Rakuten (previously known as Ebates) - BeFrugral These sites offer cash back on a variety of transactions! Travel, online shopping, restaurants, and more. You can redeem for easy cash back via Paypal, or you can even redeem for gift cards (sometimes as an incentive, they will give an additional bonus for getting the gift cards). Be sure that the sites are activated before purchasing, or your cash back may not get credited to you. With that said, let’s start booking!</image:caption>

<image:title>Travel For Beginners - Time To Start Booking!</image:title>
<image:caption>Now that you have your credit card, and your laptop is open with fresh tabs, and you activated your cash back site, and you created your membership account… YOU ARE READY! Here are some tips to keep in mind when starting your bookings: Do not book during the peak of summer in a popular tourist location like Hawai’i or Greece. Do not book during the weekends like Friday night. You will pay significantly more than simply traveling on a Wednesday instead. Be sure to compare the flight prices between different online agents, and even compare to the flight on the airlines direct website. Sometimes, just sometimes, you will catch a notable price difference for the exact same flight (this is why I like having my laptop empty with fresh tabs for booking my travel). Remember to book everything with the credit card that gives you the most travel incentive, that way you earn cash back on both your card and the cash back site. Also check surrounding cities close to the destination you want to see. Sometimes a 10-minute drive outside the city can get you a nicer hotel at half the price! For one last tip that not too many people know about, read our working online post and read the last paragraph on VPNs ;)</image:caption>

<image:title>Travel For Beginners - Do I Save My Miles/Points? Or Do I Spend It?</image:title>
<image:caption>Now that you have accumulated a bunch of points and miles from your credit card sign up bonuses, and you are now booking your travel accommodations… The question arises: to spend, or not to spend? Every single travel blogger out there will recommend something a little different according to their opinion and their travel habits. Personally, unless I am saving for something big, like a grand water bungalow villa in the Maldives that cost like $20k… I will spend it. Why? I am saying this not as fact, but as pure observation as a lifelong traveler- points and miles lose value over time. It’s no secret that 10,000 points/miles could have gotten you a lot more travel accommodations about 10 years ago. So in my opinion, I will spend it. I don’t wanna hoard onto them, only for the conversion rates to get worse as time goes on. *** Also once last tip, check if your travel credit card gives you incentives for TSA Pre Check, or Global Entry! It’s worth it, believe me. You will save yourself hours at the airport. It’s a great benefit and peace of mind.</image:caption>

<image:title>What We Do - Do you shop on Amazon? Do you watch Netflix/Hulu? Do you check your bank account online? Do you listen to podcasts? Do you have an online dating app?</image:title>
<image:caption>Yes, my friend. Working online is very much real. We are a society that is attached to our phones more than anything else… yet we still get skeptical about working online. Even though nearly everything we do is online. Funny, isn’t it? We were taught to be skeptical of something that we are addicted to, and use every day. The raw truth is, more people around the world are switching to working online every single hour of every single day. If you are not yet on this bandwagon, I highly recommend doing so in the near future. The power of online is crazy high compared to a brick and mortar business. 1. You don’t need to pay a monthly rent for your space. 2. You don’t need to commute. 3. You don’t need to worry about hours of operation. You can literally make money while sleeping at 3am. 4. You can AUTOMATE nearly your entire business online. I could go on for ages, but I’m sure you get the idea. But also think about real life examples: - Amazon vs literally every retail store that exists - Netflix vs Blockbuster - Audible vs Borders - Uber vs taxis</image:caption>

<image:title>What We Do - So… Where Do You Start?</image:title>
<image:caption>You know you want to work online, but you don’t know what to do? You have no experience, you have no products that you make, you have no services to offer… So what in the heck can you do? Read my new blog for a list of all the different ways to get started working online. But here is a quick reality check. Starting an online business isn’t a ‘get rich quick’ and if that is what you are chasing for, it’ll be very difficult for you. Your job allows you to clock in, and regardless of how hard you work, you are guaranteed a paycheck, right? However, having an online business will test your patience unlike anything ever before. It will hold you accountable because it’ll be your work ethic and your determination that’ll provide you the results and income. And the truth is… that probably terrifies you, in fact it terrifies almost everyone. We were raised to be comforted by a paycheck that we are promised to receive. But do you see what that really means? It means that we are guaranteed an income cap. Our paychecks do not grow bigger just because we worked extra hard that week. If you worked 40 hours, and your coworker who is lazy and does everything wrong also worked 40 hours… guess what? You guys still got paid the same amount. Crazy isn’t it? And yet, we were taught that is normal. That is the way life works. It’s bullshit. It’s time to work for you. Why are you allowing yourself to be paid a certain amount because someone else decided it for you? It’s time to make your own money, and as much money as you want. Want to work with me personally? Let’s start.</image:caption>

<image:title>Fresh Mindset - “I’m broke.”</image:title>
<image:caption>Raise your hand if you’ve said this before. That is the beginning of a horrific relationship with money. And you didn’t even know it. The truth is… you cannot improve your money situation if you’re always telling yourself that you’re broke. It just won’t work. Your brain and body will believe the words you’re telling it, especially if it’s constantly being said. Imagine trying to build your self esteem by constantly calling yourself ugly and stupid. Won’t work, right? But I understand why you think this way. Because I was brought up with the exact same mentality. I was taught to never believe in something that seemed “too good to be true” while also simultaneously always believing that there was a ‘catch’ to everything: “what’s the catch?” And honestly… WTF? Why was it so absurd to believe in something that could be good for me, and make me happy? At the same time to always expect the worst? No wonder our mentality around money is so skewed. We have been groomed to think that we could never achieve our dream of owning our own successful business, and we would be stuck in poverty forever. Trust me when I say that, as skeptical as you are, and as scared as you are… so was the both of us. But you know… it is time to put that mentality aside and start a fresh slate. Why? Because the bottom line is… LISTEN TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE WHAT YOU WANT. Period. Period. Period. If you’re going to do something, like start a new career or start a new business, why would you ask someone who has never done it? Think on that for a minute… or five. If you want to be famous, listen to advice from a celebrity. If you want to be rich, listen to advice from six or seven figure entrepreneur. If you want to fly, listen to advice from a pilot. If you want to travel, listen to advice from a travel blogger or backpacker. Listen to those who have wanted the same thing you wanted, and also ACHIEVED it.</image:caption>

<image:title>Credit Card Tips - Why Credit Cards?</image:title>
<image:caption>Credit cards are one of those things where people either absolutely love them, or wholeheartedly despise them. Why is that? It falls into one answer only: knowing how to use it. With high interest rates, people can easily fall into debt with them, if not used correctly. If you are unfamiliar with credit, snag my credit cheat sheet for a quick and easy snapshot of learning how to build credit for newbies. Before you sign up for any credit card (also peep the referral cards below for an additional cash bonus), please actually read the terms and agreements (and more importantly, ask questions if you need clarity). <image:title>Credit Card Tips - List of Credit Cards:</image:title>
<image:caption>Below is a list of our favorite credit cards for beginners. One of our favorite cards right now is the Citi Costco Card, which we feel is often overlooked when it comes to a ‘travel’ credit card. This card offers 3% cash back on travel! Including flights, hotels, car rentals, and more. Ask your local credit union. They may surprise you with their products. More often than not, credit unions offer attractive rates compared to banks. Reason being: credit unions are not for profit, while banks are. The Discover it card is an attractive one because of the sign up bonus, more so than the travel perks. You get a whopping 14 months of zero interest on purchases! This card also gives you a cash back match after your first year (ie, if you earned $250 cash back, Discover will match it and give you another $250, bringing your total cash back to $500). The card has quarterly categories for 5% cash back as well. Click here if you want an additional $50 when you apply! A great card to take with you on your travels is the Capital One Savor card. It gives you 3% cash back on anything related to entertainment and food! So whilst traveling if you go to the movies, adventure park, roller skating, snowboarding, and the like… 3% all the way! Not to mention 3% for your food too, + $200 sign up bonus! (cont.)</image:caption>

<image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5e9fa5ae6ab392071f9140d0/1589355510872-DDK4XG63TSJMMLIXSHH8/Haiku.JPG</image:loc>
<image:title>Credit Card Tips - (cont.)</image:title>
<image:caption>5. If you want to dip your toes into travel hacking, and want to use a really amazing travel credit card that isn’t too expensive, the Chase Sapphire Preferred is my favorite! They just recently updated their card benefits so that you get 3x points to the dollar for restaurants, groceries, and travel. Plus, they offer a $50 hotel credit! However, I know this blog is meant for beginners, and some of you don’t want to pay an annual fee. Therefore another great option from Chase is their Freedom collection (there are two cards so choose the one you want!). There is also a zero interest for 15 months, and a $200 sign up bonus after spending $500 within the first 3 months if you click here. 6. What is your favorite airlines? If there is a particular airline that you consistently fly with, consider getting their credit card. For example, in Hawai’i, Hawaiian Airlines is the most popular airline and they have a credit card with Bank of Hawai’i + Barclay. Or another travelers favorite airlines is Southwest. Staying loyal to an airlines can reward you in the longrun for upgrades, access to their loungers, and more! 7. If you want a card that gives you points/miles that can be redeemed for various airlines, another popular one is the Venture card with Capital One. 8. American Express is a great credit card company with lots of benefits on all of their cards. There is even a list of travel cards on their site. The only downside to Amex is that it’s not very commonly used outside of the USA. So it may be good for booking some travel accommodations, but not necessarily good for while you are actually traveling.</image:caption>

<image:title>Credit Card Tips - Credit Cards + Your Future</image:title>
<image:caption>This was one of the greatest achievements! In our mid-20’s we have been able to buy a home in Hawai’i with our baby corgi. (We will also reveal how we found a way around putting a down payment! With no PMI either ;) Subscribe if you want to be notified when we release the doc on how we did this!) If there is anything we want you to take away from this post, it is that if you use credit cards to your advantage, you can use it to set up your future. Here are some quick tips to always keep in mind: Always pay your credit card on time! Even if you do not have the full amount to pay by the due date, at the very least pay the minimum balance. Since cards compound interest daily, it is still in your best interest to finish the remaining statement balance as soon as possible (emphasis on statement balance, not current balance). Avoid paying interest by paying the statement balance every month. Try to stay below 30% of your card limit (ie., if your limit is $1,000 then stay below $300 on purchases) For a more in depth detail about credit, check out our credit cheat sheet!</image:caption>

I suggest using this to start getting into the mindset of a business owner - and did you know the average person has over $1,000 worth of stuff laying around their home that they don’t even use anymore? 2. Get money back from when you go shopping. You can take photos of your receipts with ReceiptHog for coins that you can eventually redeem for cash back or gift cards. You can also do the same with Fetch Rewards that gives bonus rewards when you use the app daily, and iBotta, which gives you cash back for certain featured items. The items rotate out so always check the next time your favorite fruit or pasta is on the app for some free money! Another popular grocery app is Checkout51. It works similarly to iBotta, by featuring certain products for bonus cash back. The last app the pays for your receipts is Shopkick, but only when you purchase a featured item. However, they also give you points/kicks when you scan the featured item in the store (without needing to buy!) 3. Get paid when you buy gas. Yup, it’s totally a thing now! You can earn CASH when filling up gas using a revolutionary app called Upside. They allow you to redeem gift cards, and now also offer real cash to be redeemed via Paypal! They also provide cash back for certain restaurants too. 4. Earn cash back on your online shopping! My top two favorite cash back sites are Rakuten and BeFrugal (use my links for a sign up bonus!) You go to these sites first, look for the store you want, and click to shop. They will track your cash back automatically and pay you out on Paypal. If you also enjoy Amazon, you can use a browser extension called Honey (update: they now have an app!) because they will automatically search across the web to make sure you have the best price on the item you are about to buy. They also auto-input any coupons that they find to see if you can get an even bigger discount. (cont.)</image:caption>

<image:title>$ide Cash - (cont.)</image:title>
<image:caption>5. Start walking! If there is any incentive at all to get off your booty and starting walking around, it is Sweatcoin! With every step that you take, it will tally up how many Sweatcoins you earn - which you can then redeem for prizes, gift cards, and even up to $1,000 in cash! 6. Earn cash back at your favorite restaurants and shops with Dosh. It will scan what merchants are in your area that are available for cash back, and you don’t even need to activate it. Simply hook up your card to the app, and it’ll give you cash back once you’ve used your card to pay at the participating merchant. Another app that works similarly by connecting to your card is Pogo. Once you link it, the app will automatically reward you points on your purchases. You can double dip on points by submitting receipts for a faster cash out! 7. If you are really into arts or crafts, I highly suggest using Etsy as a platform to sell your products for income. (Click on my Etsy referral link to get your first 40 listings for free!) Homemade clothing, jewelry, and other knickknacks thrive on Etsy. My mom used to be an online seller as a hobby, and has since sold over 1,000 items! 8. If you get bored of the games on your phone, try one that gives you prizes and/or cash instead. Lucky Day is a gaming app that works like virtual scratch cards. You collect game tokens or actual cash per scratch card. Redeem the tokens for random prizes and gift cards to your favorite stores! There is also a Solitaire game that allows you to earn real cash (and no, you do not need to put any money in!) I have tested this myself by winning $11 in my first 2 days! Not astronomical, but definitely a win! 9. Turn business cards into cash! A very weird and interesting blueprint has created this unique opportunity to turn business cards into a monthly income. If you’re up for a little story time, it might be worth the read!</image:caption>

<image:title>$ide Cash - Get Paid To Refer~</image:title>
<image:caption>Imagine if you got paid every single time for referring or recommending a movie, restaurant, or retail store to friends, family, or social media followers. How much money do you think you’d have? That is exactly what affiliate marketing is! And the beauty of this type of marketing is that you never have to worry about carrying inventory or stock. ClickBank, ShareASale, ShareSkill, Amazon, are all great ways to get your foot in the door with affiliate marketing. They are easy to sign up with, virtually no upfront costs to start, but they are also very low ticket commission, meaning on average you will likely get paid $1-$99 per referral/sale. Alex and I have dove into high ticket affiliate marketing instead.. and let me tell you, it was the best decision we’ve ever made! High ticket meaning… instead of earning a few dollars per sale, we are earning a few thousand dollars per sale! Yup, all with zero fees, zero inventory or overhead, zero monthly quotas, zero rent, zero worries! If you’re at all intrigued, join our completely free Facebook Group OR you can send me a DM on Instagram and you can learn everything in full transparency. We don’t hold anything back (: **Note: In order to be accepted into the group, you must answer ALL of the entry questions.</image:caption>

<image:title>Travel Must Haves - Camping/Backpacking/Hiking?</image:title>
<image:caption>Our biggest hike so far is trekking through the Andes Mountains in Peru for 3 days straight. Here are some things I highly recommend bringing: -A camping tent since obviously you’ll be sleeping outside. However if you book a tour with a guide, they will provide that for you. -Warm compression pants or thermal leggings/yoga pants literally make a huge difference when nighttime falls. They also make it easier to layer your clothing. -Hiking shoe preference will vary per person, but we loved the five finger Vibrams because they strengthen your feet. Be mindful that there is a learning curve to these shoes and your feet will ache if you are not used to it. However, their solid quality, water durability, and sole grips, make them the perfect shoe in our book. -Windbreaker jackets are a must! They are light, yet will protect you from getting sunburned or soaked if it rains. It’s the perfect jacket for trekking. -A bladder bag (or camel pack) is perfect for carrying your water supply without feeling a hard bulky flask on your back while trekking.</image:caption>

<image:title>Travel Must Haves - Romantic Getaway? Instagram Content Creator?</image:title>
<image:caption>Bora Bora is one of the most photogenic spots we have ever vacationed. Here are a list of things we brought with us that helped us document all the beauty this island had to offer! -Most importantly, get a Go Pro! You’ll want all those water photos, because it’s one of the clearest waters you’ll ever see. It also helps significantly to have a selfie stick for taking wide photos. If you want to take photos with your phone to update your Snapchat or Instagram, you can get a cheap waterproof phone pouch that you can wear around your neck. -Wearing cute floral dresses, and beach cover ups came in handy; as Bora Bora is a little more conservative than our home in Hawai’i and you can’t wear bikinis to the restaurants along the beach. -Also recommend getting a cute beach hat because even when we went to French Polynesia in December, it was extremely hot and humid.. and this coming from people who are from Hawai’i. -If you’re like us, and care about the ingredients in your sunscreen for the sake of the environment and your skin, we recommend getting marine and reef safe sunscreen. Our favorite brand is Sun Bum; on that note please only use lotion or stick. Do not use spray, as this is still harmful to the environment. -One thing we totally forgot to bring, was a snorkel! We were kicking ourselves pretty hard over this, because Bora Bora had schools of fish that we could see from our balcony! -Last thing is a dry bag, so you can bring your belongings with you while you’re adventuring. It’s the most effective waterproof bag we have ever used.</image:caption>

<image:title>How to Work Online? - You know you want to work online… but you’re stuck on knowing what exactly is out there. Amiright?</image:title>
<image:caption>We’ve done the work for you. Below is a compiled list of all the different ways to get started working online! ——————————————————————————————— Hold up! Before you start… You need to get a VPN. Trust me. If you’re gonna start working online, making money online, growing a business online, investing online… you need to protect yourself online! VPNs hide your real IP address, which makes it extremely difficult for hackers to get a hold of your computer. Especially if you plan to start traveling while working online (cus I mean, you’re not longer obligated to go to “work” anymore) because you will likely be using public wifi- like hotels, cafes, restaurants, etc. These wifi networks make your computer the most vulnerable. In addition, while traveling internationally, some websites are restricted depending on the country (vimeo for example isn’t allowed in some foreign countries) and therefore using a VPN is the only way around it. Now that you have a VPN, let’s get started!</image:caption>

<image:title>Before You Travel - Traveling The World</image:title>
<image:caption>Let’s go around the world. Before you start, get yourself a travel credit card. My favorite by far, is currently the Chase Sapphire Preferred. If you are traveling and plan to use public wifi from airports and hotels, you must have a VPN to protect yourself. If you are traveling internationally (outside the USA), note that covid is still not over. You need to take lots of precaution, take tests, do your research, and in some countries you need to get travel insurance to cover potential covid treatments. I personally used Squaremouth, which is a search platform that compares different travel insurance plans. You can also filter which ones are the most affordable (Alex and I scored a plan that is 2 months long for only $100 for BOTH of us!) So a plan for only 1-2 weeks will be significantly less. A couple of tricks to searching your travels. One of the best suggestions I can offer (if you aren’t shopping with points or miles) is to search for a travel package together. It brings the cost down a lot more than booking flights and hotels separately. Top favorites are Kayak (partnered with HotelsCombined) and Expedia. However, before officially booking anything, be sure to activate cash back sites that offer rewards on travel purchases. Rakuten and BeFrugal are my top 2 favorites. I highly recommend getting both and comparing which one is offering a better deal (since you can’t double dip). In addition to these sites, you can also get a few other browser extensions that pop up if they detect a coupon code that applies to your website (so this works beyond travel, it works with retail purchases as well!). My favorites are Coupert, and Honey. If you’re looking to stay outside of the typical hotel rooms, don’t be afraid to explore staying at an Airbnb as well.</image:caption>
